For bird watchers, butterfly lovers and all those who appreciate vacationing in a lush and unspoiled environment, a stay at Jasmine provides an unequaled opportunity to relax and experience the natural wonders of old Florida.
Lodgings at Jasmine are offered at the GARDEN VILLA, a gracious and inviting 1,700 square foot garden-level guest residence at the main house, located on the north side of scenic coastal road 98W directly overlooking the Gulf. Here, guests can enjoy the warmth of a family country home where an ambiance of luxury and comfort prevails, far removed from the monotonous vacation rentals or timeshares one typically finds today.
The guest residence is surrounded by butterfly gardens, has its own separate entrance, and is free of any steps. The second floor remains private, thus providing the garden-floor guests with the peace and quiet of a welcomed respite.
Guests have access to romantic outdoor sitting and dining areas and Jasmine’s private beach, located some 150 feet in front of the house on the south side of the property.
The residence can provide travelers with accommodations for up to six (6) adults, and includes three-bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins), 2 bathrooms, living area, dining area seating six, a large fully-equipped eat-in-kitchen, W/D, and WiFi. The interiors are uniquely decorated with antiques, comfortable furnishings, appealing textiles and original artwork.
French doors open off the kitchen and living area to a spacious 300 square-foot tiled and jasmine-covered outdoor pavilion with tables, lounge chairs, charcoal barbeque grill, and nearby hammock. Numerous outdoor sitting & dining areas, garden walks, and Jasmine’s private beach, located steps away, provide additional opportunities for sharing dreams, or for enjoyment of a few moments in solitary contemplation.

LOCATION
Jasmine-by-the-Sea is located just west of Carrabelle, along U.S. Highway 98 on the Florida Panhandle approximately 50 miles southwest of Tallahassee. Carrabelle is unique for its freshwater and saltwater fishing (a well-kept secret of this tiny coastal town) and is a boat lover's paradise. Activities here revolve around the natural environment. Great opportunities abound for birding, kayaking, hiking, or simply taking a relaxed stroll down a deserted beach. Carrabelle is home to the world's smallest police station, The Big Bend Saltwater Classic (fishing tournament), and the St. James Bay golf course. Nearby is the beautifully picturesque and historic Victorian town of Apalachicola, featuring gourmet restaurants, delightful galleries and historic homes. Heading up the great Apalachicola River, you can view many wild and isolated marshes and swamps, or you can take trips across the Bay to the barrier islands - St. Vincent Island, Cape St. George State Preserve and Dog Island.
The Tallahasee Regional airport (TLH) is located approximately 42 miles northeast of Carrabelle.
